Kedrick Malone is the Director of the Financial Services Implementation Unit (FSIU). He is responsible for leading the team charged with implementing the recommendations of the Financial Services Consultancy Report produced by McKinsey and Company for the Government of the British Virgin Islands. The Report outlines a set of recommendations designed to transform the financial services industry of the British Virgin Islands and set it on a path of strong and sustainable growth.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Malone served as the Executive Director of BVI Finance, Director of the BVI London Office and Director of the BVI Tourist Board. His other public sector work includes Deputy Permanent Secretary in the then Chief Minister’s Office, Film Commissioner and Senior Lecturer at the
H. Lavity Stoutt Community College. He is a past Chairman of the BVI Chamber of Commerce and Hotel Association. Prior to returning to the Territory in 1991, Mr. Malone worked for the IBM Corporation in New York for 12 years in marketing, systems engineering and management.
